On one hand their end goals are the same but are completely different on how to get there. As a result the two bump heads constantly which makes matters even worse. To that effect Rangers have been under attack in the Mideast Territory by USMP forces. However, in this particular instance one Ranger decided to turn the tables on the USMP. Floating in the sky effortlessly the 00 Gundam searched for the USMP he already knew were in the area. It did not take long until Deckard found a group of GM Snipers IIIs resting. Deckard's approach was quick and sudden to the unsuspecting USMP soldiers. "Heat source detected!" Leona shouted as she and the others turned to look upwards. With both GN Sword IIs pointed at the group below Deckard pulled the triggers in rapid succession. Beams burned through the sky towards their targets. Xiu and Jin are hit by the 00 Gundam's attacks. The blows are enough to knock Xiu and Jin to the ground as Trent and Leona jump backwards to avoid damage. Recovering from the attack Trent and Leona grip their sniper rifles. Taking aim they open fire on the 00 Gundam but with ease the 00 Gundam avoids each attack. "It will take more than that to get me," Deckard says to himself as he avoid another barrage of weapons fire. Stepping up Xiu and Jin take positions behind cover while Trent and Leona continue to fight the 00 Gundam. "Do it now!" Trent yells over the comm to the other members of team recently recovered. The new barrage manages to catch Deckard off guard and force him closer to the ground while taking some damaged. Taking the situation in stride Deckard uses it to his advantage. Seeing the leader of the group now the 00 Gundam flies full speed at Trent. Deckard takes a shot to the shoulder from Trent but now in melee range Deckard switches the functions of his GN Sword IIs . With one horizontal slash the stomach section of Trent's power armor is sliced open to expose his flesh below. Coming down with the other sword Deckard begins to dig the blade into Trent's left shoulder. The blow is enough to sink Trent into the ground a couple of feet. Deckard finishes his attack as he round house kicks Trent in his exposed skin and sends him flying backwards. "Bastard!" Jin shouts as she rushes from her cover and towards the 00 Gundam. Leona backs off in order to re-engage the target while Xiu joins Jin. Getting in close Jin uses the sniper rifle in hand as more of a melee weapon. Swinging the rifle to the side Jin blocks the first attack of Deckard's. The blade cuts deep into the rifle but it is not enough to slice it into two pieces. Using the other blade Deckard tries to stab the GM Sniper III in the chest but is blocked by another move from Jin. "Your good, but not that good." Deckard jumps forward and bashes the 00 Gundam's head into the Jin's unit. Disorientated by the unusual attack Jin is unable to counter Deckard's next attack. Changing the GN Sword II from sword to rifle mode Deckard fires several shots into Jin before disabling her. Xiu seeing her partner fall takes aim on the exposed back of the 00 Gundam and fires at its legs. Deckard is forced to his knees from the assault. Rolling to the side versus standing up Deckard is able to avoid the attack from Leona in the distance. Coming out of the roll Deckard leaps into the air to gain distance on his foes. Switching the other GN Sword II into a rifle Deckard aims both at the disable pair below. "Your move, best not do anything reckless." Deckard's sudden ultimatum catches the pair below off guard. However, their answer is clear from their situation... Minutes later Deckard stands in the open field surrounded by the damage of their fight as the GM Sniper IIIs limp off into the distance. Result: Deckard Grimm Wins Deckard Grimm: +7XP and +5% Synch; 2 Days Repair Trent Grant and Squad: +5XP and -3% Synch; 2 Days Repair and 1 Day Injury
